El zaguero central Nicolás Sainz acordó condiciones y se convirtió hoy en refuerzo de Quilmes, de cara a la próxima temporada en el campeonato de la Primera División.
El defensor, ex Nueva Chicago, procede de Gimnasia y Esgrima de Mendoza, donde actuó en el último torneo del Federal A.
«Estoy feliz de dar este paso en mi carrera. Poder volver a Primera División es para mí un desafío enorme, sobre todo con un equipo que está bien plantado en la categoría como Quilmes», expresó el zaguero central, de 27 años.
Sainz hizo divisiones inferiores en Racing Club (debutó en Primera en 2009) y luego pasó por Nueva Chicago durante tres temporadas. Con la institución de Mataderos subió a Primera y luego descendió a la B Nacional.
El jugador le agradece al técnico Marcelo Broggi «la apuesta grande» que hizo para sugerir su contratación. «El entrenador me conoce y tiene buenas referencias mías. Me conoce de habernos enfrentado, me vio jugar», dijo.
Sainz practicó durante la jornada en el estadio Centenario y también se entrenó por primera vez junto al plantel principal el juvenil Gianfranco Vigneri, que se desempeñaba en la Reserva.
